Tremendous day for the Attacking Vikings in Kitzbühel
In super weather and conditions in Kitzbühel Kjetil Jansrud was back on top of the podium in the Super-G, flanked by his teammate Aleksander Aamodt Kilde sharing the second place with home favourite Matthias Mayer.
What an exciting Super-G in Kitzbühel, a race with continuous green lights on the TV screen. First, in the absence of Dominik Paris, Mattia Casse (ITA) took the lead. Next start Mauro Caviezel (SUI) beat Casse with 4/100. After the short break the home favourite Matthias Mayer (AUT) did an almost perfect race and took a clear lead. Shortly after that Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) copied Mayer's finish time. Then, as the last top seeded racer, Kjetil Jansrud (NOR) was back where he used to be as, on top of the ranking.
