We are snow, that's our DNA

The Lillehammer Region – A World-Class Winter Paradise
The Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen region is Scandinavia’s premier ski destination and one of the world’s top spots for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. With five alpine resorts, the area offers everything from World Cup–standard slopes to family-friendly runs for beginners. The region is renowned in the skiing community for its long, reliable winters and excellent snow conditions.
Every autumn and winter, we welcome national teams, elite athletes, and clubs from across Norway and abroad for training camps. We take great pride in consistently delivering top quality — good enough for the elite, and more than good enough for everyone who skis for the joy of the experience.

Promoting recreation and tourism
Our events aim to contribute to sustainable growth and development for Norway’s tourism industry. They build on the goals of both the National Tourism Strategy and the National Event Strategy, as well as the region’s comprehensive Master Plan.
We work closely with our owners, partners, and the destination company RADA Reiseliv to develop events that foster year-round destination development.
We want our global audience to experience the magic of our destination, with roots deeply anchored in Norwegian folklore — some of which are even portrayed in the Netflix success “Troll.” Sport, excitement, family fun, relaxation, culture, local food, and shopping — in Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen you will find everything you need for a memorable holiday, both summer and winter.
A green event in a white landscape
Through targeted efforts and a strong focus on continuous improvement, we aim to become a knowledge hub for sustainability — a pioneer for other organizers to follow. Hafjell-Kvitfjell Alpin invests in and drives a sustainable agenda to help secure a continued white winter.
Investments that Secure Growth
Alpinco has solid owners with a strong focus on developing both Hafjell and Kvitfjell. In the coming years, significant investments will be made in new accommodation capacity and infrastructure in the resorts, including new lifts.
The World Cup is a key priority for Alpinco, and the company is dedicated to further developing these events. In addition, Alpinco is a co-owner of the company organizing the World Cup. More than EUR 40 million is invested annually across the two resorts — both in destination development and in projects directly linked to the World Cup.
Alpinco, together with the organizing company Hafjell-Kvitfjell Alpin AS, maintains a strong focus on the environment and sustainability, with ambitions to introduce green snow production in the near future.
