World Cup Kvitfjell Jr. Race

Children’s Ski Race – Update for 2026
The World Cup Jr Race will unfortunately not be held in 2026. We know this event has become a highlight for many young skiers and families, and we truly appreciate the enthusiasm and support it has received.
The good news? The Jr Race will be back – stronger than ever – in 2027! 🎿✨
We look forward to once again inviting young skiers to experience authentic World Cup conditions, race in the finish area, and be part of the unique World Cup atmosphere in Kvitfjell.
Thank you for your understanding – and we can’t wait to welcome the next generation of ski stars back to the start gate in 2027!

Children’s Ski Race – World Cup Experience 2027!
We invite all young skiers to take part in the World Cup Jr Race – right after the award ceremonies – in the lower section of the World Cup course. The race will be set up with authentic World Cup conditions! Start at the bottom of Løftet, and race down the same World Cup slope to the finish area. The course is straight with a relatively flat profile – perfect for the next generation of ski stars.
The competition will be filmed and commentated by NRK, broadcast via livestream, and shown on the big screen in the finish area. Timing and optional speed measurement will be provided by Longines.
A dedicated spectator zone will be set up for participants and their families, right next to the stars during the downhill race.
🎿 Free entry to the World Cup!
Experience the World Cup circus up close and enjoy a thrilling day in Kvitfjell.
👉 This is without a doubt Norway’s toughest kids’ race!
