Kvitfjell fills up quickly, but it are a lot of good options to stay in Lillehammer, based 60 km south of Kvitfjell. On Saturday you can take the train from Lillehammer to Kvitfjell and back. The train stops 150 meters from the finish area in Kvitfjell. This is really door to door.
