Arena crew
The arena crew is responsible for coordinating the planning and setup of the finish area before, during, and after the competitions. The finish area includes everything from the finish line to the exit of the spectator area and is a key location for volunteers, spectators, partners, and media.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and organizing the paddock, mixed zone, spectator areas, grandstands, VIP tents, and the World Cup Square.
- Planning and coordinating the construction of infrastructure in the finish area, including setting up tents, stages, platforms, stalls, power boxes, cables, and the placement of toilets and wagons.
- Laying out power boxes and cables for the event.
- Assisting TV, media, and rights holders with their needs in the finish area.
- Assisting with access control, security, and fire safety within the responsibility area.
- Supporting the execution of flower ceremonies and other ceremonial duties in accordance with applicable protocols.
- Assisting FIS personnel with equipment control.
- Coordinating security tasks in collaboration with the head of security and infrastructure/security manager.
- Planning and coordinating snow clearing in the finish area to ensure optimal conditions during the competition.
- Taking down infrastructure and cleaning up after the event.
