Super(-G) Sunday for Kilde
Another fantastic raceday in Kvitfjell with Aleksander Aamodt Kilde in the centre for an enthusiastic audience
This unbelieveably fine World Cup week with sun, a lot of people and perfect conditions in the course was rounded up with a memorable Sunday. Aleksander Aamodt Kilde took his first Kvitfjell victory and secured at the same time the Crystal Globe in Super-G for the season 2021-22. This came to be a tight and exciting race with James Crawford (CAN) 7/100 second behind and Matthias Mayer (AUT) 12/100 behind. Adrian Smiseth Sejersted came in to eighth position.
In the Downhill Cup Kilde is still in the lead with Beat Feuz, Matthias Mayer and Dominik Paris attacking. This will be decided in the final in Courchevel in the middle of March.
