Personnel and Volunteer Services
The Volunteer Services section is responsible for providing support and service to all volunteers during the event. This includes registration upon arrival, distribution of materials, and organizing practical services such as catering and accommodation. The team ensures that all volunteers receive the necessary information and assistance before, during, and after the event and serves as an important communication hub.
Responsibilities:
- Registering volunteers upon arrival and distributing accreditation cards, pins, and volunteer sweaters.
- Organizing and managing catering for volunteers, both at the venue and at other locations.
- Coordinating accommodation arrangements and ensuring that all volunteers have appropriate lodging.
- Managing ongoing communication with volunteers, including sending push notifications via Rubic to update on important messages and changes.
- Recruiting, following up on, and coordinating volunteers according to the staffing plan, in collaboration with other sections.
- Facilitating the registration of volunteers during the event, ensuring that all necessary information is registered and updated.
- Serving as the contact point for volunteers for any questions or problems that may arise during the event.
- Assisting with logistical tasks related to volunteer services, including coordinating any transport needs.
